The Paudel family traces its roots to Kurgha (Kanpur), a village in Parbat district of Gandaki Province, Nepal. The Paudel Bansawali project was born from the desire to preserve family history in a digital, accessible format — one that can grow with each new generation.

How this archive is kept
Admin-verified records
Every member record is created or approved by an administrator. Registered users may suggest corrections, which go through review before any changes are applied to preserve absolute authenticity.
Bilingual support
All names and biographical details are stored in both English and Nepali (Devanagari script). You can switch languages at any time using the language toggle in the header.
Interactive family tree
The tree is rendered from live database records using D3.js. You can zoom, pan, and click any node to view a member's full profile, navigating generational depths seamlessly.
Dual calendar support
Birth and death dates can be stored in both the Gregorian (AD) and Bikram Sambat (BS/VS) Nepali calendar systems, preserving chronological roots in their native historical format.
